Main conceptual idea of project is to integration of Gebze organized industrial area with close environment and providing enviromental, social and economical sustainability. Area is considered as ecological corridor for Kocaeli city. Design principles is considered as rehabilitation of polluted air and soil. Main design principle is to maintaining green network of region.
Promenade which 676 meter length, is fundamental element of design and used as connective tool for building blocks with its relative green spaces. Promenade consists of various green spaces and landscape elements and rain water basins which provides ecological sustainability.
Ecopark which is 8214 squaremeter and connecting with promenade, is designed to provide ecological variety and increasing energy sustainability. For those reasons it consists of biological pond area and users can reach this area with walking paths.
This zone consists of permaculture principle of project and reflects sustainable acommodation idea with agriculture. It includes individual and common fields, workshops, agricultural education areas, agriculture hotel and greenhouses for vegetables and endemic plants.
